Arts Award Supporter Spotlight

National Museums Liverpool

National Museums Liverpool is a group of museums and galleries in the North West of England. They became an Arts Award Supporter organisation because it was 'the perfect fit' to offer training, support and arts sessions to advisors and young people taking Arts Award.

'At National Museums Liverpool, we are delighted to help young people achieve Arts Award, developing their creativity, critical thinking and self confidence in the process. This award plays a significant role in recognising young people’s achievement in the arts' says Kate Johnson, Senior Education Manager.

They have an experienced education team who can support participants to achieve the different parts of the Bronze and Silver awards through their offer of free exhibitions, workshops and events for any young people working towards their Arts Award.

Education Manager, Jo Connor says ‘The benefits to National Museums Liverpool are that more young people are engaging with our museums and galleries through our formal and informal arts programme. Working with young people to support them through Arts Award helps us to understand this key audience'.
